Industrial Visit

Industrial visits are very important for every engineering student as it provides a clear picture of the industry ways and vital information about the organizations.

ACEM offer opportunities for all the students to interact on a regular basis with Industries by ways of such visits to renowned companies and /or their production units. The Engineering students are taken for such industrial visit in the mid of course in which students interact with the management personnel and staff to brief them on the production techniques and/or corporate policies.

Orientation / Induction Session

Orientation programs serve as a foundation for college success. New student are exposed to orientation programs designed to guide students in answering all of their questions. Prior to the beginning of classes, students are given an overview of the complete overview of campus life, from academics to social activities for period of several days.
To help new students to be at ease with the course, the institute his/her peers and seniors, an orientation cum induction session is a must for all first year students to adapt themselves to the learning environment at Allahabad College of Engineering & Management (ACEM).
The orientation program covers details of various activities, systems and procedures related to academics and non academics activities, placements, annual events, extra curricular and co-curricular activities and code of conduct.

Debate Competition

Such competitions are aimed at strengthening students skill and capacity, to enhance their awareness on important issues. Debate unfolds their potentialities in public speaking, research capabilities, depth of analysis and above all confidence.
Debate or "stressing" is a method of interactive and representational argument. Debate is a broader form of argument than logical argument, which only examines consistency from axiom, and factual argument, which only examines what is or isn't the case, or rhetoric which is a technique of persuasion. Though logical consistency, factual accuracy and some degree of emotional appeal to the audience are important elements of the art of persuasion, in debating, one side often prevails over the other side by presenting a superior "context" and/or framework of the issue, which is far more subtle and strategic
Competitive debate is an organized to argue with other teams, competing at the local, national, and international level. It is popular in English-speaking universities and colleges around the world. Many different styles of debate occur under a variety of our organization's rules.
In our colleges, often, it takes the form of a contest with explicit rules. It may be presided over by one or more judges. Each side seeks to win, by following the rules, and even by using some rules to break other rules, within limits. Each side is either in favor ("for, 'Affirmative' "), or opposed to ("against, 'Negative' "), a statement (proposition, moot or Resolution) which if adopted would change something with the exception allowed to define the scope of the proposition; i.e. they choose what it will mean if adopted. To further illustrate the importance of rules, those opposed must destroy these arguments sufficiently to warrant not adopting the proposition, and are not required to propose any alternative solutions.
